The Blueprint
Can You Make It Pop? (Again)

Week 6 at YellowAd
This week marked a big shift in my journey at the agency.
After weeks of juggling teams and transitioning between responsibilities, I officially moved to the branding team. It genuinely felt like returning to my pavilion — my field, my comfort zone, my space to grow. The transition brought a refreshing sense of familiarity and excitement at the same time.
Starting with a new team always comes with a mix of curiosity and nervousness, but this change quickly turned into something comforting.
Finding a New Creative Rhythm
The branding team feels different in the most subtle and reassuring way.
The pace is still fast, but the pressure feels more balanced. Everyone manages their own brands while also looking out for each other, which creates a sense of shared responsibility. Instead of feeling like I’m trying to catch up, it finally feels like I’m becoming part of a system that moves together.
In a way, it feels like joining a new family within the same agency.
Designing Across Multiple Brands
This week was a productive one creatively.
I found myself working on creatives for multiple brands at the same time, switching visual languages, colour palettes, and brand personalities throughout the day. Each brand comes with its own tone and aesthetic, and moving between them feels like stepping into different worlds.
It’s challenging, but also incredibly exciting. It pushes me to think faster, adapt quicker, and trust my creative instincts more than before.
Slowly, the feeling of “newness” is turning into confidence.
Feedback That Never Sleeps
Of course, some things never change — especially client feedback.
One line in particular seems to follow every designer everywhere:
“Can you make it pop?”
It’s the kind of feedback that instantly becomes part of your daily vocabulary and occasionally your late-night thoughts too.
Understanding feedback, interpreting it correctly, and translating it into visuals continues to be one of the most important learning curves of this journey.
Life With Too Many Tabs
Another realisation this week: my laptop now has more tabs open than a small country has citizens.
Between references, brand guidelines, stock assets, AI tools, and working files, my screen has officially entered multitasking mode permanently. It’s chaotic, slightly overwhelming, and oddly satisfying at the same time.
It feels like a very accurate metaphor for agency life.
Reflection on Week Six
This week felt like a fresh start within the same journey.
Joining the branding team brought a new rhythm, new energy, and a renewed sense of excitement. It feels like stepping into a space where I can build deeper skills and contribute more confidently.
And for the first time, the fast pace feels less intimidating and more motivating.

This Week's Takeaway
Growth becomes visible when you start feeling comfortable in spaces that once felt unfamiliar. New environments bring new energy — and with it, new confidence.
