A playful brand identity where simple building blocks transform into visual identity and imaginative isometric worlds filled with stories.
Challenge
I worked on creating the visual identity and illustrative world for a building-block brand. The challenge was to translate a familiar product into a distinctive brand language—one that felt imaginative and story-driven without becoming too literal or visually close to existing building-block brands.
Insight
Building blocks are more than toys; they are tools for curiosity, problem-solving, and storytelling. Children don’t just build structures—they create worlds, characters, and narratives, often assigning meaning to every small piece they place.
Idea
I envisioned Brixel as a brand where each block becomes a starting point for imagination. The idea was to design a modular identity and an isometric “worlds of imagination” concept, where mini worlds emerge from each stud—reflecting how simple blocks can construct endless stories through playful, constructive play.
